#1: Unconditional Love – there’s nothing like the love from mans best friend… and early on in my life I was blessed to experience unconditional love from my parents obviously but also from my Dog Dezzy.
How does this apply to business?
How do you treat someone or an animal when you love them unconditionally? Imagine treating your business, your customers, your partners with unconditional love.
To define unconditional love is to say that a person loves someone unselfishly, that he or she cares about the happiness of the other person and will do anything to help that person feel happiness without expecting anything in return. In other words, the definition of unconditional love is “love without conditions.” I’ve found that when you apply unconditional love to your business… everything improves, but it starts with YOU. Don’t wait for “them” to initiate it. You initiate and see what happens.
#2. Protect those you love – Dezzy would always protect me fiercely. If someone would get too close, she would let them know by putting her jaw around their leg, to say, “don’t mess with him!” How does this apply to business?
Think about it.
Do you love your customers? Do you love your clients? Do you love your affiliate partners? Do you love your business partners? Saying you love them and showing them you love them is entirely two different things altogether.
We protect those we love. Apply this to business and watch as your business flourishes.
#3. Loyal to death – Dezzy was absolutely loyal until death and I was loyal to her until death. I was there with her taking her last breath! In business, people make commitments and then fall out of integrity with those commitments when they aren’t suitable for them. That will bite you in the you know what. When you make a commitment, honor your word no matter what and do the right thing.
Nothing will slow you down or stop your growth more than being out of integrity with your word. When you are loyal to death and in integrity with your word… favor flows to you. This is my experience.
